Kochi: South Indian Bank (SIB) has announced the launch of Employees Provident Fund (EPF) payment services through its internet banking platform, CyberNet. The project is being implemented in collaboration with the Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO). The integration will enable employers and institutions to make seamless EPF payments through the bank’s digital banking platform. The project was inaugurated by Uttam Prakash, Regional PF Commissioner, Kochi Region and Lakshadweep Union Territory, P.R. Seshadri, Managing Director and CEO, South Indian Bank, and B.G. S.S., SGM and Head of Branch Banking.

With the successful completion of the technology integration between the bank and EPFO, employers, institutions, etc. will be able to pay EPF installments, dues, remittances and related charges directly through the EPFO ​​portal using SIB’s net banking services. Speaking at the event, P.R. Seshadri, Managing Director and CEO, South Indian Bank, said, “The launch of EPF payments through SIBerNet is another important step in our commitment to provide seamless and secure digital banking services to our customers. By enabling direct integration with EPFO, we aim to simplify legitimate payments for employers and businesses and strengthen our digital ecosystem to facilitate ease of access to services.”
