India’s festive shopping season is bringing aggressive discounts on Apple’s iPhone lineup, giving consumers an opportunity to buy recent models at lower effective prices. Major retail platforms are combining direct price cuts with bank cashback and exchange incentives as competition intensifies during the peak electronics buying period.
Reliance Digital is among the retailers offering special deals through its Festival of Electronics sale, which begins on October 9. iPhone offers will be available from 9 am during the sale period, covering models ranging from the iPhone 15 and iPhone 16 to the newer iPhone 17 series.
The iPhone 17 is among the biggest attractions in the promotion. The 256GB version is listed at Rs 79,899 during the sale. Customers can also receive a bank cashback of Rs 3,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 8,000, potentially bringing the effective purchase cost down to Rs 68,899 for eligible buyers.
Older models are also receiving notable discounts. The 128GB iPhone 15 is available for Rs 59,899, while a Rs 1,500 bank cashback and Rs 3,000 exchange bonus could reduce the effective price to Rs 55,399.
The 128GB iPhone 16 is priced at Rs 69,899 under the offer. With the applicable Rs 1,500 bank cashback and Rs 3,000 exchange bonus, the effective cost could fall to Rs 65,399.
The offers highlight how festive promotions are increasingly relying on a combination of upfront discounts, payment incentives and exchange benefits rather than simple reductions in listed prices. For buyers, the final cost will depend on eligibility for the relevant bank offer and the value of the device being exchanged.
With consumers looking for premium smartphones at more competitive prices, Apple’s iPhone lineup is likely to remain one of the key attractions during India’s festive electronics sales.
