Kochi: Gold prices have increased again in the state. According to reports released on Tuesday (March 31, 2026) evening, gold prices have risen again. According to the latest All Kerala Board rate, 22-carat gold has increased by Rs 75 per gram to Rs 13,705. With this, the price of one paan of gold has reached Rs 1,09,640. With this, the price of one paan (8 grams) of gold has reached Rs 1,09,640. 18-carat gold has increased by Rs 65 per gram to Rs 11,265 (Rs 90,120 per paan), and 14-carat gold has increased by Rs 45 per gram to Rs 8,770 (Rs 70,160 per paan). 9-carat gold, which recorded the least change, is trading at Rs 5,655 (Rs 45,240 per paan). This is a situation where continuous changes are evident in the price of gold. The previous record price in Kerala was Rs 16,395 per gram and Rs 1,31,160 per pound, recorded on January 29, 2026. The volatility in the international market and the current war situation are significantly affecting the price of gold.
